How to become a professional sales person? How should I approach new customers to sell my services?

December 23rd, 2009 · 3 Comments · Selling Professional Services

MA,

The first thing that you have to do to be a great sales person is to sell "yourself" first. If the prospect isn’t sold on you as a person, they are not likely to purchase your products. Self confidence is key in establishing a relationship with a customer or prospect. If they can’t see your confidence in yourself, they are less likely to believe you are confident in the products or business.

I have several articles I would be glad to share with you if you would like them. No, they are not about my business, they are about sales and self-motivation. If you would like them just email me at bonnieram1962@yahoo.com and I will send them to you. Be sure to let me know that you want the sales and motivational articles.

I wish you all the best!

Imagine that each potential customer has a button on their forehead, which says "what’s in it for me?"
If you can press that button, you will make the sale.

Read Tom Hopkins book "How to sell anything to anyone." That is the bible. It has a great reference list and it will start you on your journey to better sales.

    Good luck!
