When we launched our first web site in 1998 it was our original plan to have a directory of professionals serving Main Street where our web site visitors (we did not have many for the first couple of years) could connect with professional solution providers who were not necessarily located where they were.
Over the years we had found that people would love to meet qualified lawyers, accountants, business insurance agents, and in recent years business coaches – who were not part of the usual suspects.
They want to meet professionals close enough to them to meet them personally and far enough away they feel comfortable telling them their deepest secrets.
It took over a decade for the cost of establishing the directory of our dreams came to to where we could afford it. And it took almost that long for our daily traffic and inquiries to warrant putting it in place.
A few months ago we launched it, but we have not promoted it – because we want people like you, folks who are drawn the ideas and strategies we’re presenting here – to be its foundational members.
